A Year 12 student's call for people to rally in support of reproductive rights, led to a 2000 strong march through Sydney on Sunday (June 9).
Called "My Body My Choice", the rally began at Hyde Park and continued to Town Hall.
Seventeen-year-old Bella Ziade (pictured right), organised the event via Facebook, in response to the rollback of abortion laws in several US states.
Greens Senator for NSW Mehreen Faruqi was among those marching.
Ms Faruqi tried in 2017 to introduce a bill decriminalising abortion, but was unsuccessful. - Eleanor Campbell
