Three teenagers are behind bars after they allegedly broke into a car lover's Sydney home and stole four vehicles, including a 1971 red Chevy.
The car enthusiast, 42, was woken in the early hours of Tuesday by the gang who forced their way into his West Pennant Hills garage and drove off with his red 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS coupe, a black Jaguar sedan and a Range Rover.
A Yamaha WR250 motorcycle was also taken, NSW Police said in a statement.
The trio was arrested a short time later after allegedly crashing the Range Rover into a nearby M2 motorway on-ramp.
The Chevy was found abandoned after 8am in the neighbouring suburb of Castle Hill and is now being forensically examined by NSW Police.
Three teenage males, aged 16, 17 and 18, were arrested and charged with multiple offences including aggravated break and enter.
All were refused bail and are expected to appear before the courts on Tuesday.
The black 2015 Jaguar XF sedan and the white Yamaha have yet to be recovered.
A police spokeswoman would not confirm whether officers were hunting additional suspects.
