Heavily-armed officers have raided five homes on a single street in Sydney's west in an attempt to dismantle an alleged drug supply ring.
Members of the Tactical Operations Unit and the Public Order and Riot Squad executed the search warrants on Harrow Road in Auburn at 6am on Thursday.
Video of the raids, released by NSW Police, show the road blocked by Bearcat armoured vehicles while masked officers with military-style weapons and shields keep watch.
Strikeforce Oilwell officers allegedly seized cannabis, replica firearms, prohibited weapons, seven kilograms of prepackaged drugs and cash during the raids.
Five people - four men and a woman - were arrested and taken to Auburn police station.
A handcuffed man in shorts and sneakers used his t-shirt to cover his face while riot police arrested him.
The raids came on the back of information provided by the community, Detective Inspector Paul Arnold said.
"This is a strong reminder to the community they don't have to tolerate, accept or condone drug use," he said in a statement on Thursday.
Det Insp Arnold said further search warrants would be executed later on Thursday.
