Two brothers and another man who allegedly stomped on and punched two men after an AFL match in Melbourne will face more serious charges.
Sam Walker, 25, Dominic Walker, 27, and Benjamin Fitt, also 27, faced Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday, each on four charges of recklessly and intentionally causing injury to two men on September 7.
The three men were each expected to be additionally charged with a count of recklessly causing serious injury and causing serious injury in circumstances of gross violence, and conduct endangering life and serious injury, police said following the court mentions.
It is understood the victims ran from the accused and waited in a side street, before returning to get a cab, where the incident unfolded, police alleged at the time.
The Walker brothers and Fitt are due to reappear in court on February 12.
